Tri Delta and Zeta team up to ‘strike out cancer’

The Delta Delta Delta and Zeta Tau Alpha sororities will be teaming up this weekend for a “Strike Out Cancer” event during the softball double-header.

Tri Delta and Zeta will host the first ever “Strike Out Cancer” tomorrow to raise awareness for cancer causes. The double-header begins at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the softball fields at Grizzly Park. Franklin College softball will take on Alverno College and Olivet College.

Tri Delta’s philanthropy is childhood cancer, mainly working through St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Zeta’s philanthropy is breast cancer awareness and research.
