Men’s Grizzlies fall short to Bluffton

The Franklin College Men’s basketball team lost a hard-fought game to the Bluffton Beavers in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

Franklin now sits at 4-10 in HCAC play and 5-16 overall. Bluffton is now 7-7 in the HCAC season and 11-10 overall after a win on Saturday.

Sophomore Aaron Mann scored a game-high 23 points for the Grizzlies. Teammate Robbie Prather added 13 points and made three three-point field goals on the day. Junior Trae Washington contributed with seven points, six rebounds and five assists.

Thayne Recker led the Bluffton Beavers in scoring with 19 points. Andrew Finley and Austin Rohde each helped the Beavers with 16 points apiece.

Franklin looks to rebound against Transylvania University at home in the Spurlock Center on Wednesday.
